Dr. Dayana Yankova-Pushkarova

Profile Dr. Dayana Yankova-Pushkarova is a diagnostic imaging specialist in Sofia with over 7 years of medical experience. Her professional interests are in multimodal breast imaging. She has accumulated experience in breast ultrasound diagnostics. Her scientific achievements are in the field of women's health, particularly magnetic resonance imaging of the female pelvis with an emphasis on reproductive disorders. Education She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in 2016. She obtained a specialty in Diagnostic Imaging after specializing at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging of Lozenets University Hospital. Qualifications - Bulgarian Association of Radiology, European Society of Radiology, Bulgarian Society of Breast Imaging, and European Society of Urogenital Radiology; - Participation in specialized mammography courses in Bulgaria; - Author of the monograph Congenital Uterine Anomalies – Presentation of the ESHRE/ESGE Classification through Magnetic Resonance Images, published in 2020; - Co-author of over 10 other scientific publications in the field of radiology in Bulgarian and international journals; - Regular participation in scientific conferences, symposia and congresses in Bulgaria and abroad. Biography Dr. Yankova-Pushkarova was a resident physician in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Lozenets University Hospital. She pursues teaching and scientific work in diagnostic imaging. In 2018, she became a part-time assistant, and in 2022, she won a competition for a full-time assistant position in Diagnostic Imaging at the Faculty of Medicine of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. She is currently also part of the specialist team at Harmonia Medical Center Sofia. She speaks English and Spanish.
